הנשיא ATO ברן מצהיר בנוגע למחסור בצוות ביניים

The Chairman of ATO, Gürsel Baran, made a statement in writing and said that the incentives and facilities provided to high school graduates in vocational and technical education will be effective in solving the problem of the real sector's staff shortage. Baran pointed out that the difficulty of the real sector in finding intermediate level human resources has increased after the pandemic, stating that there is a shortage of intermediate level human resources in almost every sector, from construction to health, from textiles to furniture, and especially in the service sector.
Pointing out that Turkey has a young population and has made significant progress in vocational and technical education in recent years, Baran said, "The workforce, called intermediate staff with professional and technical education, is the heart of the real sector. However, young people and families think that the only way to find a good job is to study at a university. First of all, we need to break this perception. Every year, hundreds of thousands of young people graduate from universities, but neither they nor the employer can find the employee they are looking for. We need to explain that the way to find a job under good conditions is through vocational training, and we need to provide incentives and facilities to workers who graduate from vocational and technical high schools. We believe that the incentives that will be given, from salary and insurance benefits, to military service and health expenses, will be effective in solving the problem of the real sector's intermediate staff, which has become chronic. "Incentives for professionals will be a strong step in overcoming the problem of intermediate staff," he said.
