11-Year-Old Turkish Pianist Aytekin Yilgin Wins First Place at International Mozart Competition
Aytekin Yilgin, an 11-year-old Turkish pianist, has won first place at the International Mozart Competition. Aytekin's love for music was discovered by his father, Fırat Yilgin, when he was playing with toy drums at just 1.5 years old. He took conservatory exams to pursue his love of music and has given performances in many countries around the world. Aytekin studies at the DEU State Conservatory in the class of Faculty Member Demet Eytemiz, where all students have achieved significant success in international competitions.
Aytekin won an honorary award at the Amadeus International competition just eight months into his conservatory education.
