"Children: Our Hope for the Future"
Iskele Municipality in Cyprus continued its tradition of handing over the mayor's seat to children on April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Martyr İlker Karter Primary School, Dr. Suat Günsel State Primary School Iskele and Iskele Maarif Kindergarten students had the opportunity to represent their schools and friends by sitting in the mayor's office. Mayor Hasan Sadıkoğlu spoke to the children and gave them gifts. He praised their potential and emphasized the importance of a good education. The presidency, accompanied by school directors and teachers, was handed over to Gülten Yenigün, Mete Sergen, Hira Aydemir, Devlet Hosiyev, Sedat Şöferoğlu and Yağmur Ayçiçek one by one. This annual event is a valuable opportunity to celebrate the future of the country and inspire children to pursue their dreams.
