By pointing out the preliminary examinations and evaluations on the subject, "Due to the observation that there are businesses operating with similar names and logos in various provinces throughout the country, examinations and inspections regarding the aforementioned situation were carried out by the Provincial Directorates of Commerce in our 81 provinces within the boundaries of the provincial civil administration. In this context, as a result of the examinations made by the Advertisement Board, regarding the promotions carried out by the mentioned businesses, and Dairy Institution, it has been decided to impose an administrative fine of 1 million 110 thousand 432 TL in total and penalties for the suspension of the aforementioned promotions for the businesses discussed in the agenda of the Board, on the grounds that the trust of the consumers is abused by unfairly exploiting the reputation of the consumers and therefore the lack of experience and knowledge of the consumers is abused. On the other hand, promotions that deceive and mislead our consumers are closely followed by our Ministry; Complaints and audit reports from provinces as well as similar activities reflected in the press and social media are meticulously followed. At the May meeting of the Advertisement Board, the examination and evaluation of the files received by our Ministry will continue.
