
"Istanbul Urgently Needs to Prepare for an Earthquake"

Turkey's Minister of Environment and Urbanization, Murat Kurum, has announced that they will celebrate their victory on May 14 and aim to break a record in the Anatolian Side of Istanbul. Speaking at the Ümraniye AK Party neighborhood heads' sahur program at the Ümraniye Wedding Hall, Kurum emphasized the 100 thousandth house contract signed after laying the foundations on the 73rd day of the disaster in Şanlıurfa. He stated that Istanbul needs to be urgently prepared for an earthquake and they will make Istanbul resilient and safe. Kurum also announced that the cost of Finans Kent is 65 billion liras and the region will directly employ 50 thousand people and indirectly 100 thousand more. He concluded by stating that their nation will give the necessary answer at the ballot box on May 14.
