
Minister vows to give necessary response on May 14.

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and AK Party Istanbul 1st Region Deputy Candidate, Murat Kurum, met with neighborhood heads and party officials at the AK Party Neighborhood Heads Sahur Program in Ümraniye Municipality. The event was attended by leading figures from the AK Party, including the Mayor of Ümraniye, Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, and the Organization Chairman, Erkan Kandemir. During the event, the speakers addressed the recent earthquake and the efforts of the Turkish state in the aftermath. Mayor Yıldırım praised the rapid response of the state and highlighted that "no government, including the USA, cannot build 100 thousand housing foundations in 70 days." Deputy candidate Nurettin Alagöz expressed his gratitude for being selected as a parliamentary candidate, while Azmi Ekinci spoke on the responsibility of giving hope to earthquake survivors. Murat Kurum discussed the importance of working towards a safer, greener and bluer future for Istanbul, and expressed his confidence in the AK Party's ability to continue developing Turkey's economy and defense. The closing speech was given by Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe who congratulated the attendees on their successful house visits and urged them to continue their preparations for the upcoming elections. The AK Party candidates seek to continue Turkey's current trajectory of development and progress, while their opponents offer a vision of stagnation and subservience to global powers.
