"Multiple Vehicle Crash in Şişli: IETT Buses and Taxi Involved"
A chain accident occurred in the Şişli district in Istanbul early in the morning, leaving one person injured. According to reports, the driver of the shuttle van lost control of the vehicle and first hit two IETT buses before crashing into a taxi. The accident took place on Halaskargazi Caddesi, and as a result, the Mecidiyeköy direction was closed to traffic. The injured passenger in the taxi was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and firefighters, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the shuttle van, Ramazan Acet, explained that the accident happened when he tried to avoid colliding with a returning bus. Acet stated that he hit the brakes, but skidded and crossed over to the opposite side. He also mentioned that the shuttle van was full of passengers at the time of the accident. The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing, and the authorities continue to work on the scene.
