"New Aşk-ı Memnu Movie Starring Farah Zeynep Abdullah Reveals Set Photos of "Bihter""

Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil's renowned novel Aşk-ı Memnu is set to be adapted into a movie once again, this time with a unique twist. The movie adaptation will take place in the 1900s, in line with the period the novel takes place, instead of modern times like the previous TV series adaptations. The screenplay for the film will be handled by Merve Gontem (Naked), and the film will be produced by TAFF Pictures. The directing duo of Mehmet Binay and Caner Alper, who were behind the Farah Zeynep Abdullah-starring film Bergen, will be sitting in the director’s chair. The cast of the movie is already set, with Osman Sonant taking on the role of Adnan Bey, Boran Kuzum as Behlül, Hande Ataizi as Firdevs Hanım, and Helin Kandemir playing the character of Nihal.
The first photos from the set of the movie were released earlier this year, and the star of the movie, Farah Zeynep Abdullah, has shared a picture of herself on the makeup table with the caption "Here We Go Again" on her Instagram account. While the news of the film has excited critics, some fans of the TV series adaptation are not happy with the idea of a new film adaptation, with discussions continuing on Abdullah's social media page.
The Aşk-ı Memnu TV series adaptation has been incredibly popular and gained a huge following, with stars like Beren Saat, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, and Selçuk Method. However, the film adaptation promises to offer a unique experience with a period-focused storyline. It remains to be seen how the movie adaptation will fare with the fans of the previous TV adaptations, but the movie's cast and crew are ready to take on the challenge.
