President Erdogan Announces Acceleration of Urban Transformation
President Erdogan spoke at the 1st Stage Turnkey Project of Fikirtepe Urban Transformation Project and the Urban Transformation Commencement Ceremony in the 2nd and 3rd Stages. He emphasized the importance of urban transformation and announced that they will share new good news to accelerate the process on the first day of the holiday.
He also stated that 1.5 million homes in Istanbul need urgent transformation, and they are devoted to approving projects that can eliminate disaster risks. With an investment of 20 billion, they are building 12,418 houses, in which 60,000 people can live. President Erdogan underlined the significance of the Istanbul Fikirtepe Urban Transformation Project as one of the country's most important projects, which has an area of 830,000 square meters and a construction area of 2.5 million square meters.

He elaborated that there is a need to be careful and eliminate any greed or negligence during the process, and he emphasized that Istanbul should be one of the priorities.
