President Tatar: I see a youth who takes care of the TRNC in my travels

President Ersin Tatar continued his “Conversation with Youth” programs with Yeni Erenköy High School and Karpaz Vocational High School, following his visit to Yeni İskele Bekirpaşa High School and Değirmenlik High School last week.

Meeting with the youth in Yeni Iskele, Mesarya and Karpaz region this time at the "Chat with Youth" meetings that continue with young people from all over the country, President Tatar spent time with the youth in his busy schedule and met with them.

President Tatar, who visited İskele Bekirpaşa High School together with Cengiz Uzun, the Director of the Secondary Education Department, was greeted by the student council and the Deputy Principal Sıdıka Aktu.

Expressing that life passes very quickly in his conversation with school students, President Tatar stated that he made "man's most memorable friends during his school years" and said that this friendship and friendship will be very valuable throughout the life of the young people.

President Tatar stated that as students should attach importance to lessons, being strong through sports, music, art, culture and social activities will greatly contribute to the future careers of young people and their positions in the society.

President Tatar chatted with the school teachers and staff for a while, then met with the students and had a conversation.

In two visits to the Karpaz region today, President Tatar met with young people from Yeni Erenköy High School and Karpaz Vocational High School. President Tatar was welcomed by the Principal Mustafa Çırakoğlu at Yeni Erenköy High School and by Cumali Avcı at Karpaz Vocational High School, in addition to the student councils.

President Tatar pointed out the struggle for existence of the Turkish Cypriot people; “It is not possible for us to rewind 60 years,” he said. On a question asked by the youth, President Tatar stated that after the Ukraine War, one should look at the geopolitical reality, not the nice words; “Turkey's guarantor is the red line for Turkish Cypriots. "While hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians died in this age, both NATO and America remained mere spectators," he said.

President Tatar met with youth, educators and the public all over the country

President Tatar, who has visited 16 schools across the country so far, met face-to-face with thousands of young people in schools and answered their questions, requests and suggestions; educators and the public came together to listen to their problems and share their views.
