Russian Baltic Fleet Starts Military Exercise with High Readiness for War
The Baltic Fleet of Russia has recently started a military exercise with a high readiness for war. According to a statement from the press service of the fleet, the forces stationed at the fleet's base in the Baltic Sea have been put into a state of high readiness for war within the scope of inspection, and the exercise has begun.
More than 1500 soldiers of the fleet, along with 10 warships, 50 military equipment, planes, and helicopters, are taking part in the exercise, which is being held in the Krasnodar region of Russia.
This exercise comes after Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu declared on April 14 that the Pacific Fleet was also put into a state of high readiness for war as part of an inspection. In addition, Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed Shoigu to maintain inspections of Russian fleets.
This military exercise by the Baltic Fleet with high readiness for war is sure to keep tensions high in the region.
