Selçuk Bayraktar develops military drones for Turkish Military
Baykar Chairman of the Board of Directors Selçuk Bayraktar announced yesterday that they have prepared Bayraktar KIZILELMA and TB3 on the deck of Turkey's first aircraft/gunship TCG-Anadolu for the nation to see. The ship, which is the world's first unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) carrier ship, will be open to visitors starting yesterday.
Bayraktar shared a photo of the ship on his Twitter account, where he stated that they have prepared the Bayraktar KIZILELMA and TB3 for the nation to see. The ship was set to sail by various historical sites in Istanbul, including the Hagia Sophia, Süleymaniye Mosque, Topkapı Palace, and Galata Tower.
The TCG-Anadolu is a new addition to Turkey's Navy, with a length of 232 meters and a width of 32 meters. The ship has a top speed of 32 knots and can carry up to 6,000 tons of fuel. It can also carry up to 40 aircraft, including helicopters and UAVs.
Bayraktar's announcement is just one of the many technological advancements in Turkey's Navy.
