"Turkish Minister envisions a strong future through collective effort"

Turkey’s annual TEKNOFEST technology competition kicked off at Bursa’s Yunuseli Airport with an opening program attended by Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, Governor Yakup Canbolat, Metropolitan Mayor Alinur Aktaş, AK Party Provincial President Davut Gürkan and many citizens. The Fighting Unmanned Aerial Vehicles competition is led by BAYKAR and features a fixed-wing category with 754 teams applying, with 22 teams and 190 competitors from 12 provinces qualifying for the finals. The first-place team will receive TRY 500,000, the second-team TRY 350,000, and the third-team TRY 250,000 in the Warrior UAV category. The Minister also emphasised support for young people and Turkey’s investment in the people to ensure future growth. These comments came as he visited the stands in the competition area in his own Togg car. Minister Varank said, “We continue to walk towards our goals with full rein. Hopefully, under the leadership of our President and thanks to these young friends, we will build the Turkish Century together.”
