Turkish Minister Reports 12 Terrorists Neutralized in Military Operations
Turkish Minister of Defense, Hulusi Akar, has stated that the only target of the Turkish Armed Forces is terrorists, and that they do not have a problem with anyone's ethnicity, religious, or sectarian identity. Speaking to reporters, he emphasized that their goal is to protect, guard, and keep their country, nation, and borders safe and secure.
Akar said that they will continue their fight against terrorism until the last terrorist is neutralized. He added that terrorists have some forces behind them and vowed that regardless of whoever backs them up, they will not be able to stop them.
The Minister also announced that 12 terrorists were rendered ineffective in both the Euphrates Shield Operation area and the Olive Branch Operation area after terrorists attempted an attack on their base areas. He said that the struggle would continue until the last terrorist is neutralized, and until then, terrorists have only one chance: to surrender to Turkish justice.
According to Akar, the biggest share of success belongs to their martyrs and veterans, and Mehmetçik, the soldiers of the Turkish Armed Forces, will not leave the blood of their martyrs on the ground. They will continue to hold those accountable for martyrdom and will ask them to account for their actions.
