Uzbekistan Declares Three Days Off for Eid al-Fitr

Starting from April 22 to April 24, all employees in Uzbekistan who work for five days will enjoy non-business days as a celebration gift for Eid al-Fitr. The Muslim Board of Uzbekistan will announce the start of the holiday on April 22, which could mean that April 22 is the first day of the Eid Ramadan.
For those who work from Monday to Friday, their days off will start on April 22 – Saturday, followed by April 23 – Sunday, and April 24 – Monday. However, on April 29, which is a Saturday, employees who usually have Mondays off will have to work to compensate for their April 24 loss.
Furthermore, if April 22 does happen to be the first day of the Eid Ramadan, all employees will have their work hour reduced by at least an hour on Friday, April 21.
Overall, employees in Uzbekistan will have plenty of time to spend with their families and loved ones during the upcoming celebrations, with three consecutive days off granted to all.
